ACAL 2014 AGM • Notice of Meeting

Members are advised that the

2014 Annual General Meeting of the

Australian Council for Adult Literacy will be held on

Friday 3rd October, 2014 at 5.30 pm at Crowne Plaza Hotel, Surfers Paradise.

(During the 2014 ACAL Conference)

Agenda

1. Confirm the minutes of the previous AGM held on Monday, September 30, 2013 at 4.45 pm at UTS, Ultimo NSW
2. Receive and adopt an annual report from the Executive
3. Receive and adopt the audited accounts of ACAL
4. Elect new office bearers and Executive Committee for 2014-15. **
5. Announce state and territory representatives
6. Appoint the auditor, Penny Carroll, Outer Eastern Bookkeeping
7. Close meeting

**The meeting is to elect the following

President

Vice President (to be based in a state or territory different from that of the President)

Honorary Secretary

Honorary Treasurer

Nomination forms must be handed to the President prior to the commencement of the AGM.
Voting and nomination is available to financial ACAL members.
