Are you interested in learning more about adult literacies and numeracy but feel overwhelmed by the sheer volume of information when you do an internet search? VOCEDplus is here to help!
VOCEDplus is a free international tertiary education research database provided by the National Centre for Vocational Education Research (NCVER). It contains 100,000+ publications focused on vocational education and training, adult and community education, higher education, and skills needs and development. VOCEDplus includes a significant collection of publications about foundation skills, adult literacy, numeracy, digital literacy, financial literacy, information literacy, and best practice.
In this workshop you’ll see just how easy it is to search the VOCEDplus database and learn about the range of subjects and keywords to make searching super effective.
The VOCEDplus website also features a variety of curated resources to enable you to access relevant material quickly and easily. We’ll explore the VET Practitioner Resource, the LLND special collection, and the Pod Network, including the Foundation skills pod and the Language, literacy and numeracy podlet.
By attending this workshop you’ll improve your research skills and gain valuable insights into how VOCEDplus can assist with your current role or studies, enhance your practice, and support your professional development.
