This Forum recognises the substantial body of work current available to inform adult English language, literacy and numeracy practice, policy and models of organisational provision.\u00a0 Australia has at times led the way in promoting strong practitioner research networks, industry engaged consortia and productive alliances with government agencies and policy makers.\u00a0 Such work involves constant renewal of alliances. This Forum aims to draw on the knowledge base of local practitioners and networks, the ACAL National and State-based adult literacy councils, university researchers, community groups and industry partners to shape a renewed debate and about Adult LLN research and its role in promoting a research-rich and engaged profession nationally.<\/p>\n
