(What!?#)<\/p>\n Central Melbourne is based on the famous ‘Hoddle Grid’<\/a> and the highest street numbers for the main thoroughfares and minor streets are closest to the venue.<\/p>\n So a hotel at 25 Collins Street might be attractive but it’s at the opposite end of the city to the Conference Centre – 623 Collins street would be much closer.<\/p>\n However ….\u00a0 there’s the Free Tram Zone<\/a> that can rescue you from a walk (but the walk would be healthier and quite pleasant)!
